How do I know if I have a lead service?
Please locate a copy of your water bill. Type the account number in the box below and we'll let you know if our records* indicate that at least a portion of your water service line is lead.
*Note: Although we believe these records to be reasonably accurate, they may not be perfect. Also, over the years, York Water has purchased other water companies that may have had imperfect records. There are actually 2 parts to a service line: the part from the water main to the curb line is owned by York Water, the part from the curb line into the house is owned by the property owner. These records only indicate if York Water's portion is lead.
